Instructor

CHA certified instructor Tara Wohlenhaus brings twenty-five years of equestrian experience, a love of horses, and her passion for horsemanship education to the riding program at Havendell Farm. Tara loves teaching children, but also has a special affinity for adult beginners and adult returning riders.

In addition to her own lesson programs, Tara is the author of "Horse Camper" - a journal and activity book for youths participating in a week of horse camp (available online soon). Tara was also the Technical Editor for the book "Horseback Riding For Dummies".
